The show follows the club’s founder as he hosts masquerades, private soirees, and erotic classes for the rich and famous. Annual membership costs between $12,000 and $75,000 for members to enjoy burlesque, erotic theater, and BDSM play.

The dress code is black-tie with men in tuxedos and women in either evening attire or lingerie. Privacy is extremely important—cell phones are banned and everyone is required to wear masks on entry. The club’s founder said some members attend parties to learn “how to give better [pleasure]” while others see it as a place “for primal urges to be explored.”

According to a new study, women in relationships are four times more likely not to care about an all-night fuck fest than those in shorter relationships. But the same isn’t true for men, who do not lose sexual interest over time.

The study, made by Southerampton University and based on 11,508 participants, found that women are especially disinterested in sex if they have “different sexual preferences to that of their partner.” This means that for women, the quality of their relationship and communication with their partner is very important to whether or not they want to get it on. “It highlights the need to assess and – if necessary – treat sexual interest problems in a holistic and relationship, as well as gender-specific, way,” researchers explain.
